During your free time it is possible to visit the Acropolis museum it's very close and well worth the visit, the ticket costs €5 for adults. It also has full a/c.

Plaka is very picturesque and lively you can wander around and soak up the atmosphere or have a drink or real Greek lunch.

If you like beer try: Fix or Mythos they are the best IMHO.

Itinerary

Leaving Piraeus cruise ship port you will drive through Piraeus towards Athens passing by several picturesque harbors. The aim would be to get you to the Acropolis when there are fewer visitors so you can fully enjoy your visit.

  • Stop at the Panathiniako Stadium (10 minutes)
  • Stop at the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian‘s Arch (30 minutes)
